The Dante Core Module (DCM) is an FPGA based hardware redundant implementation of Dante networking technology. It offers up to 64x64 bi directional media channels. Unlike failover redundancy, the full redundancy in DCM enables glitch free switching between the primary and secondary networks. This form of redundancy is superior to fail over redundancy offered by other audio networking protocols. Dante is the only commercially available standards based protocol in the industry to offer glitch free redundancy.
