This sophisticated, predictive analysis program provides a sound system designer with tools to determine the preferred configuration and location of loudspeakers in a room.
Modeler® software enables sound engineers to create an accurate acoustical model of a facility, and develop a design that reduces unwanted echoes, excessive reverberation, and acoustic hot and cold spots.
With the Modeler® software program, a number of loudspeakers can be visually placed in an architecturally accurate room model of any size or shape. Complex bass arrays also can be created in a few short steps. The software then allows individual loudspeakers or clusters to be aimed and grouped or ungrouped. In addition, the software allows them to be moved, turned on or off, amplified, and even be set for time delay values. Modeler® software takes into account the acoustical properties of the surface materials to be used in the venue, and even automatically adjusts absorption coefficients of selected materials through the RT60 matching engine. The intuitive interface makes it easy to enter real room attributes, such as background noise and measured RT60 data, and translates them into a predictive acoustical model. Modeler® software can be used for existing structures, or with architectural drawings of planned structures.
