Wireless expansion microphone accessory kit for select Polycom® SoundStation® conference phones. The Polycom Wireless Microphones accessory kit is an innovative solution for adding additional microphone pickup to your conference room without the hassles or limitations of cables. Designed exclusively for the Polycom SoundStation2 EX, SoundStation IP 6000 and SoundStation VTX 1000 conference phones, each of the two microphones included with the Polycom Wireless Microphones accessory kit can be placed up to 30 feet from the phone console, extending the microphone coverage even to hard-to-reach corners of the conference room. The microphones fully support Polycom HD Voice™ on conference phones that also support HD Voice technology for superb voice quality with no compromises. Rechargeable batteries support up to 12 hours of talk time, easily covering a full day of conference calls. A convenient charging cradle holds both wireless microphones for easy recharging, and two AC adapters are included to individually charge both microphones simultaneously, even without the cradle. The AC adapters can also be used to power the microphones during conference calls. A convenient mute button that silences all microphones is built into each wireless microphone unit, and LED indicators display whether the call is active or muted, link status, and low battery. Using Polycom Wireless Microphones helps you to clean up the conference table by eliminating extra cables. There is no need to drill holes in the conference table or worry about cable management. In addition, the Polycom Wireless Microphones are ideal for rooms with unusual configurations or U-shaped tables, as the microphones can be placed anywhere additional voice pickup is needed without worrying about where to route the cables.
