The YZ820-301 has 8 audio + video inputs; 4 VGA and 4 composite, each with independent audio gain control. The switcher has a master output volume control available to the user as well as microphone mix adjustment for optimal microphone to audio mixing. Although the switcher is designed to be mounted above the ceiling and controlled using the wall controller, it also has front panel keys and indicator LEDs allowing for switching control from the front panel if installed in a desk or other furniture. The switcher maintains statistical data for use with the Showtime manager application to monitor projector bulb and filter life as well as input usage. The switcher configuration can be updated without direct access to the switcher either through the wall controller input or through TCP/IP to serial on board converter.
