35 mm Gearless Cinema Film Projector

The new CineX35 gearless projector sets a new standard in performance and convenience. With a more simplified design, allowing for ease of operation, Christie hits a new stride in quality projection. With the precision curved trap and gate, patented sealed (Academy Awardwinning) Ultramittent, and balanced single blade shutter, the CineX35 will provide smooth, quiet and long lasting performance. Incorporating two constant speed sprockets, hard anodized aluminum and nickel plated steel pulleys, along with single-sided belts, the newest design will provide long-term trouble free operation. Incorporated state of the art LED soundhead, makes installation quick and easy.

  • Standard analog visible red LED soundhead with Davis Loop design, which is driven by single sprocket to eliminate possible speed variations and reduce possible film tension
  • Proven belt drive system uses new fiber reinforced single-sided round tooth timing belts which reduce wear and tear on the drive train
  • Primary drive utilizes two constant speed sprockets with double-sealed high temperature bearings for improved reliability
  • A precision curved trap and gate with dual lateral film guide rollers provides gentle film handling
  • Hinged synchronous motor provides low ISV (inner stator variation) and allows for quick access for maintenance
