HoloDark is constructed of rigid acrylic and designed with Embedded Optics Technology to maximize contrast in uncontrolled indoor lighting conditions. No films, lens, coatings, or laminates are used - all optical properties are embedded - surfaces are very durable, non-reflective and washable. This technology eliminates hot spots and image washout fears. More importantly, it brings rear projection displays out of boxes and into the light with superior brightness by a factor of 4 to 6 times that of most existing technologies. Because of the screen's ambient light rejection capabilities, it can be freely suspended by thin cables for eye-catching open air "floating" displays or used in conventional installations, i.e., inwall, boxed enclosures, etc. HoloDark is a popular choice for displays requiring high color definition - museums, home theaters, boardrooms, control rooms, auto show rooms, TV stations, houses of worship, etc. Framing and hanging accessories, as well as, custom displays and fabrication services are available.
